Electrochemical Gas Sensor Module 4101-XX
Sierra Monitor’s 4101 module monitors a number of uncommon hazardous gases such as Hydrogen Chloride (HCl), Nitric Oxide (NO), Hydrogen Cyanide (HCN), Hydrogen Fluoride (HF), and Ethylene Oxide (ETO).
The 4101 module is based on electrochemical technology, a proven, less-expensive option that offers high accuracy, low power requirements, and sensitivity to a particular gas in the parts-per-million range.
The 4101 gas sensor module provides the user with the features needed in a stand-alone, fixed-point hazardous gas monitor system. The 4101 can avoid erroneous readings during warm-up by locking the transmitter output to allow sufficient time to fully stabilize before coming online. It also remains locked for five minutes directly after calibration gas is removed to prevent alarms caused by calibration gas. Maintenance costs can also be reduced due to easily accessible potentiometers for quick calibration adjustments.
